Stewardship in the Orthodox Faith Means Giving Freely of Your Time, Talents, and Treasure

As Orthodox Christians, we are called to a new way of seeing things - a new way of life. Our stewardship is obedience to the greatest commandment to "love the Lord with all your heart, soul, mind and strength." We are called to bring others to commit their lives to Jesus Christ in such a way that leads to the joy of knowing Him personally and profoundly.

We see the world as God's gift, as a sacrament of God's presence and a means of communion with Him. And so we are able to offer the world back to God in thanksgiving as we say in every Divine Liturgy "Thine own of Thine own we offer to thee..."

"It is right to praise the, to give thanks unto thee and worship thee in every place of thy dominion; for thou art God inconceivable, invisible, incomprehensible, ever existing and eternally the same. For all these things we give thanks unto thee, and to thine Only begotten Son, and thy Holy Spirit; for all things of which we know, and of which we know not, and for all the benefits bestowed upon us both seen and unseen."      From the Divine Liturgy of St. John Chyrsostom

To become a Steward of our parish: Please fill out a stewardship form and submit to the church. Forms are available in the church or from below.

  Instructions to Fill out and Submit Your Stewardship Pledge Form

 There are 3 ways to fill out the form:

  1. Online with Free Adobe Reader:

Download, open in the free adobe reader application that most people have. Complete the Form online & Click the Submit Button.  (You can download the free reader HERE  )

    • Use the Fill & sign tool. You can type or sign your name. 
    • Required fields: Make sure to check the authorization box, Type or sign your name in the signature field, put the date. These 3 fields are required.
    • The Submit button will:
      • prompt you to select your preferred email system. Most people pick 'default'. 
      • prompt you to select 'what to submit'. Select complete pdf 
      • an email window will then open- addressed to the treasurer- with the form attached.
  2. Online in Chrome Web Browser: 
    • Open the form in Chrome. Complete online.
    • The Submit button does not work in Chrome: Instead, Save the form to your computer and send via email to email on the form: Treasurer@stannagoc.org
  3. On paper:
    1. Print the blank form or use the one handed out in church.
    2. Fill it out by hand
    3. Take a picture of the completed form and email to treasurer@stannagoc.org.
